PROJECT OVERVIEW
Shoreline Landscape Materials is a leading supplier of premium landscape materials based in North Stonington, Connecticut. The objective of this project was to create a professional digital presence that would showcase the company's extensive product offerings while providing customers with a seamless purchasing experience both online and in-store. The client required a solution that would effectively present their products, simplify the customer buying journey, and integrate directly with their existing point-of-sale system. The website was designed to strengthen their online presence, improve accessibility to product information, and support both local customers and contractors looking for reliable landscape materials.
DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT APPROACH
he project began with a complete UI/UX design process in Figma, where the website structure, layouts, and customer journey were carefully planned before development. The approved designs were then fully developed in WordPress using Elementor and the Hello Elementor theme, creating a modern, responsive website optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
A key requirement of the project was integrating the client's online purchasing experience with their existing Square POS ecosystem. To achieve this, the informational website was built on WordPress while the e-commerce functionality was connected through Square, allowing inventory, purchases, and in-store operations to remain synchronized through a single system. Basic SEO optimization was also implemented to improve search visibility and support long-term growth.
RESULTS & IMPACT
The completed platform successfully provided Shoreline Landscape Materials with a professional online presence that accurately reflects the scale and reputation of the business. Customers can now easily browse products, learn about available materials, and complete purchases through a streamlined experience connected directly to the company's existing operational workflow.
